Paul has just completed a bespoke floor to ceiling wardrobe installation for us and we are absolutely delighted with the results. From the very outset we cannot fault Paul’s professionalism and work ethic, he was punctual, polite and extremely tidy throughout. The actual build quality is outstanding and the overall finish is excellent. We would highly recommend Paul to anyone seeking bespoke wardrobes.

Right from the first consultation, we found Paul very professional and helpful. On actual fitting of the bedroom furniture, again very professional, cleaning as he was working. Paul has just completed some built-in wardrobes for us which required fitting into the eaves. From start to finish, Paul was easy to get on with, professional, courteous, very tidy and with excellent carpentry skills, has installed a fabulous end product.

After been delayed twice due us both being struck down with Covid, Paul eventually came and completed my wardrobe amazingly in three days. Reasonably priced for such great quality work compared to bigger companies. Tidy and Professional, i'm so pleased it's finally done as it was difficult to find someone who would design and fit with sloped ceilings like I have in my bedroom on the second floor. Good communication too with design changes, etc. Highly recommend.

Paul's service from beginning to end is second to none- from his workmanship, attention to detail, work ethic and tidiness. We had 3 bedrooms fitted and he was so patient at the planning stage with our back and forth changes to the designs but as with everything he wanted to make sure it was perfect for each room with us. We have been really happy with the work that Paul (Cornwall Bedrooms) has completed for us. We did however have a fault with one of the doors when it was delivered but Paul contacted the manufacturer and had the matter resolved as quickly as possible. 4 bedrooms fitted with an assortment of styles. Paul's work is precise, neat and the finished products were of a really good quality! If anyone deserves a 5 star review, then its Paul. From the first visit, through design and to installation Paul provides a service difficult to find these days. No hard sell and he is more than happy to change a design "here and there" to make sure the end result is exactly what you want. From putting dust sheets down throughout the house to clearing up the final piece of rubbish, Paul works hard and does it all. The finished item is without doubt solid, top quality and has adds style to any home. Personally we would recommend Paul to anyone thinking of having new bedroom furniture.

In common with all the previous reviewers I would highly recommend Cornwall Bedrooms. Paul was easy to communicate with, happy to modify plans to suit individual needs, came up with lots of useful suggestions and provided accurate illustrations and quotes rapidly. Costs were very competitive compared to other larger companies even during their sale promotions. Paul was punctual, friendly and tidy, leaving nothing behind afterwards other than an excellent finished product. We were so delighted with our first bedroom we had him back six weeks later to do the second, which was even better.

Thoroughly recommend this business. Paul was excellent and managed to work within a small area to install a great product. Very reliable and so happy we decided to use them.

From start to finish, it has been a pleasure to work with Paul at Cornwall bedrooms. A complete professional who built exactly what I wanted and I love it. Paul came to see me for an initial consultation, we discussed my ideas and he brought samples for me to look at. He arrived when he said he would and worked quickly over 2 days and it was complete. He was very professional and friendly when he arrived to do the quote for the work, made suggestions for the shelving and rails inside the wardrobes, and even made a special visit to bring out samples for the doors once I had accepted the quote. After doing a superb job of fitting a wardrobe to our second bedroom, Paul has now undertaken a further project in the main bedroom. This was very different from the first wardrobe as it involved modifying and existing built in unit and fitting sliding doors to replace two pairs of traditional louvred doors. This was a difficult task as it required alterations to existing the studwork and then fitting the sliding doors to a wall that was not perfectly upright. Paul tackled it in an entirely professional way and we were able to liaise with our decorator to achieve a beautiful overall result. Paul worked efficiently and cleanly, causing us minimal inconvenience. We cannot recommend hime too highly.

 

Everything that other people have said on his website is true .He is professional, hard-working and really does go out of his way to sort out issues. At our first meeting despite another driver pulling out in front of him and damaging his van and causing him a sore back he still insisted o keeping the appointment. He was also imaginative in sorting out a problem with an under the eaves cupboard that we had ,creating a false back in the wardrobe. I recently had another bedroom fitted by a well known national firm(before I discovered Paul) and the quality of Paul"s work and the range is as good as and probably a lot better than theirs. I would whole heartedly recommend him.

Excellent service from Paul. Very professional throughout. Always arrived when he said he would, brought the samples and designs we wanted. Worked hard through the day to fit our triple wardrobe, with a lovely well crafted finish. Would we have him again, too right! Excellent service from start to finish. Reliable, trustworthy and a great carpenter. Paul took on 4 rooms and although these rooms were not conventional in room size or dimensions Paul’s vision and attention to detail have left us extremely pleased. Paul recently did built in wardrobes in my dormer bungalow. The house has every angle you could think of and the end result is absolutely perfect. From the quotation right through to completion, Paul kept us regularly updated and when working on the job was very clean and tidy. The job was also finished on time as promised. Paul did a first-class job of both designing and fitting our bedroom. He made the most of the space available and made some important suggestions about the interiors. He also has a wide selection of styles and finishes to choose from. Fitting was efficient and very clean. We were actually on holiday but were more than happy to give Paul a door key. He is very friendly and hard-working and we would recommend him unreservedly. We are delighted with our new bedroom.

Cornwall Bedrooms are the best in our experience, for design, craftsmanship & value. Cost wise, the competition simply wasn't competitive and we're convinced we wouldn't have done any better going elsewhere. We had a range of wardrobes & shelves fitted across a whole wall with mirrored doors to make the room look more spacious, all designed to make the best use of space either side of an awkward chimney breast. The room, since re-carpeted and curtained, looks absolutely superb. Thanks Paul!

We have been extremely pleased that we chose Cornwall Bedrooms to replace old whole-wall wardrobes in two of our bedrooms. The site visit was only a couple of days after our phone call, the drawings and quotation were produced promptly, and fitting dates were convenient. The Hepplewhite 'Milton' sliding door units were first class and so was the quality of Paul's fitting. And the price was good too.

My partner and I lacked storage space for a while and with a new addition to the family, extra space was required. We first considered fitted furniture but when going to the BIG national names first the price put us off completely. After receiving a quote back from Cornwall Bedrooms for a similar spec we were shocked at the price in a good way. We were then convinced we wanted fitted furniture again.

After the fun of the design stage and jigging things around a bit and picking the material and colour, Paul came to fit. He put down carpet protectors every where he would have to walk and done such a professional job in such a short space of time and thats not to say it was a rushed job.... it meant we got our bedroom back nice a quick... the finish is great a we feel like we are permanently living in a luxury hotel room. We were impressed with Paul from our first meeting with him. Very professional and provided us with a quote and CAD drawing of the wardrobes which help to visualise how the bedrooms would look. We live in a very old farmhouse which has sloping ceilings, uneven floors and walls and he has done a wonderful job! Excellent value for money and his workmanship cannot be faulted. He is extremely considerate and was exceptionally clean and tidy. Dust sheet were put down on stairs and landing. He is very busy but definitely worth waiting for.

Arranged for one of the "big" bedroom companies to quote. Failed to turn up on two occasions - which I am now very pleased about, as I found Cornwall Bedrooms. The whole process was straightforward and communication excellent. Paul is very good at what he does and the final finish of the fitted wardrobes and sliding-door wardrobe is great. Nothing was too much for him and the job was finished on time and on quote. He is meticulous about getting a perfect finish and put down dust sheets from the front door, up the stairs and to the bedrooms. Also vacuumed up after the job was done. We chose Cornwall Bedrooms after consulting with 3 different firms within the South West. We decided to use Cornwall Bedrooms due to being a local supplier, the details in his drawings and the great first impression. Paul, who fits the furniture was extremely helpful and extremely professional. We were consulted throughout the process of the job and the helpful suggestions on what will fit within the space. We changed our minds several times with the interior of our wardrobes and the design which were never a problem. As we have a very unusual sloping ceiling which Paul measured several times to make sure the measurements of the angle would be correct. And they fit perfectly because of his attention to detail. Paul covered the area with dust sheets in the room and even going up our stairs. He even brought his own hoover to clean up. His work is outstanding and the materials used are of extremely high quality. We would recommend Cornwall Bedrooms to anyone looking for the professionalism, the craftmanship and details in which he operates. Paul done an amazing install of our 3door sliding wardrobes.....extremely helpful, non pushy sales approach was why we went with him, (obviously with seeing his previous work , the quality of his work is very high) - i will only ever use Paul for any bedroom furniture / builds required. I was fortunate enough to have the Fitter from this Company install a complete new bedroom suite for my husband and myself.  Paul, the Fitter was absolutely amazing.  Besides the fact that he checked everything so carefully, made sure all cupboard doors fitted perfectly and closed exactly how they should do, he also was extremely careful with our home and how he used it. He never once caught a wall when negotiating taking all the items into the necessary area for construction, and always checked everything carefully before hanging.  The way he cut the necessary corners of the bedroom to fit the coving was nothing short of perfect and I cannot stress enough how delighted we were with the whole room.  One other thing he will do, if at all possible, is ask if this is what you wanted before actually building any particular unit.  For example, I realised, when the dressing table area was in the throes of being put together and Paul checked something with me, that I wanted it to be longer than actually decided and because he had enough materials to do this, he lengthened the whole area for me. My husband is also a Carpenter/Joiner, but now in retirement and had no wish to complete the construction himself, hence Paul.  I am so absolutely delighted he came to do the work for us.  Therefore to anyone who may read this review, Paul quite honestly is one of the best workmen I have ever come across.  Hopefully I shall be having him again sometime soon, to install another room for me. This young man takes some beating. Delighted couple!
